about us

We are an organistion committed to ensuring affordable effective healing is available for survivors of childhood trauma and abuse. We run healing centres run by survivors of childhood trauma for survivors of childhood trauma. In NSW we're located in the peaceful Hunter Valley on 340 acres of wooded hillside; in Q'ld on 160 acres at Cooyar; and in hired venues near Melbourne and Bunbury (WA).  We offer affordable healing for adult survivors of childhood trauma of all ages from 18-80 .

We welcome female and male survivors of all forms of childhood trauma, including abandonment, neglect, sexual, physical, emotional, spiritual, and ritual abuse.

PRIME MINISTER'S AWARD WINNER - for Excellence in NSW Community Business Partnerships, with Greater Building Society.

Our Objectives:

  • To run centres of excellence for healing from childhood trauma, leading the field in adopting new ways to help survivors heal, effectively and affordably.
  • To be a valuable resource for survivors and their families, available through all media forms.
  • To assist survivors, without discrimination by age, sex, spiritual beliefs or cultural background.
  • To always have healing programs run by survivors.
  • To have survivor-facilitators and carers, all of whom are trained in the Mayumarri Healing Model.
  • To be a community living by Christian principles.  Committed to loving and caring for the guests who choose to come.
  • To have a training course for survivors, so our philosophies can influence the way trauma victims are helped.
  • To change the way parenting, child-rearing - and even perpetrators - are treated in this country, showing a more compassionate view than that currently encouraged.
  • To operate an effective outreach program – to promote a better understanding of the effects of childhood trauma, and to encourage survivors to heal, rather than suffer the debilitating consequences of trauma throughout their lives.
