The Heal for Life Adult Healing Centre in the Hunter Valley runs about 35 healing weeks annually for adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse. There are healing weeks in Victoria, Queensland and West Australia which are held less often.

We believe that all survivors have the ability to heal.

We believe that all survivors most effectively heal by acknowledgment of the pain which they were not able to feel at the point of trauma during their childhood.

We believe that we can only heal when we feel safe about our surroundings and safe around the people we are with.

We believe that we heal most effectively when we are empowered to trust in our own abilities to heal rather than believing that someone else will heal us.

We know we feel safest when we are in a non-authoritarian atmosphere.
