Sponsors
We are blessed by having five major sponsors, two extraordinary benefactors and countless supporters and donors.
Our alliance with the Greater Building Society earned the 2004 Prime Minister's NSW Award for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships (and finalist 2007) and we find our association with their Management and Staff an absolute joy. We also acknowledge and appreciate the counsel of Greater C.E.O. Don Magin on our Board.
NBN-TV have proved their deep community involvement for years now, offering air-time and commercial production help. Whenever we have sought their help they have responded with a spirit of real co-operation.
Charlestown Square Shopping Centre - a leading Hunter regional centre - joined us as a major sponsor in 2005, offering space for a promotion and presenting us with opportunities to reach survivors in their daily lives.
We have also called on our pro bono lawyers, Allens Arthur Robinson, from time to time to help us with legal matters. Their guidance is as deeply appreciated now as it was when we formed.
Our benefactors, Graham Oborn (Eva House) and the anonymous donor who funded the Mayumarri Therapeutic Skills course for our carers, have been inspiring with their support. Graham's investment has included massive roadworks and building construction. The other donor's offer to underwrite costs of the course for 5 years (on a reducing basis) has allowed us to develop the 8-module course teaching our healing model.
